How to Enter
Fujifilm Distinctions Awards 2009 - Terms and Conditions
- Closing date for entries is 1 September 2009.
- All entries must be photographed on Fujifilm Professional film or Fujifilm Consumer film only. Images originated on digital cameras will not be accepted. Retouched and composite images originally taken on Fujifilm Professional/Consumer film will also be accepted. All film formats of Fujifilm Professional film will be accepted and will be judged on the content of the image irrespective of film format used.
- The number of entries is unlimited.
- All entries will be received online at www.fujifilmdistinctions.co.uk
- Merit winners will be asked to submit a print. These prints must be submitted on Fujifilm photographic paper, i.e. Fujicolor Crystal Archive photographic paper, Fujifilm Multijet inkjet paper or Pictrography/Pictrostat paper (with the exception of B&W paper), without a mount or folder. The maximum size of print for final judging is A4.
- A panel of photographic industry experts will be chosen by Fujifilm UK Ltd to judge the competition.
- Merit winners and overall winners will be notified by telephone or by email.
- Please note that entries not presented as stated in the rules will not be accepted for judging.
- First prize will receive a cheque for £1,000 sterling, second prize will receive a cheque for £500 sterling and third prize will receive a cheque for £250 sterling.
- Prizes are not transferable.
- The Distinctions Awards are open to all photographers, worldwide.
- No responsibility can be accepted for any entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post or elsewhere.
- Each entrant shall be deemed to warrant that they own the entire copyright in the work or that they have permission from the licensee and/or copyright owner/s for the uses and that all necessary model releases and clearances have been obtained. The entrant undertakes to indemnify Fujifilm UK Ltd in respect of any breach of the same.
- Fujifilm UK Ltd reserves the right to display, reproduce and publish in any media any entry, without payment, for the sole purpose of the Fujifilm Distinctions Awards 2009.
- Copyright remains the property of the photographer at all times.
- Fujifilm UK Ltd reserves the right to alter or change specification of all conditions, prizes, timings or any other aspect of the competition without prior notice and as they see fit. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into.
